FIRST QUARTER MOON IN TAURUS🌓♉️ AND VENUS IN PISCES
At 10:18am we will have experience the 1st First Quarter Moon in the sign of Taurus♉️, which means that we are now 1 week into the Lunar New Year. We are now making our way through the February Lunar Cycle and the first Astro Weather that isn’t under the influence of retrograde motion since August of 2022.
This is the first full week of the Sun in Aquarius♒️, giving the globe a vibrant and thrilling vitality. Plus, we’re now at 50% Illumination with the Moon so your energy levels will probably be feeling like they are on the rise.
Make sure you can unplug from solitary activities so that you can quickly plug into the communal energy grid available during community-minded Aquarius Season. Passionate Venus has just entered Pisces on January 26 and stays there until February 20. Because it has joined up with dreamy Neptune, Cupid might arrive on an early flight, and good luck fending off his onslaught of seductions!
This weekends astrological forecast has some very encouraging news with the Sun (the ego) creating a harmonious trine with Mars (drive/energy) in Gemini and Mercury (communication) doing the same with the innovation leader Uranus (disruption) on January 29th. We are one week into the first Lunar Cycle of 2023. After completing a cycle of self-care and restoration as the moon went dim, it's now time to turn up the action as the light grows to 100% illumination.
First quarter moons represent 50% illumination and the midway point to full light. The energy of this moon phase indicates taking action. During the new moon we gather our thoughts and ideas to set and intention and once we reach for quarter moon it's time to pounce.
At this point you should know what your target is so that you can tap into the energetic assist that is the growing moonlight.
First Quarter Moons only happen for 1 day, during the waxing phase of the Lunar cycle, where the moon grows to Full 🌕. This 24 hour period can become a magical game changer in your manifestation practice. It is also a great fixed point to check in from a Stellar Planning perspective and make adjustments according to how you feel (the moon).
Remember Lunar cycles are 28-29 days in total. During the first 14 days of the waxing phase 🌑🌒🌓🌔🌕 its time to plant the seeds of your intentions and fertilize them with effort. This would be considered the Yang or masculine action-oriented portion of the month.
Take advantage of this phase to bring dreams to life and get serious
Feel into your desires, refine your plans and then move forward certainty towards the Full Moon🌕.
Think about what intentions you've been brewing since the new moon especially as it relates to innovations, community, technology and friends. Now is a good time to see where you're at with those ideas and course correct if necessary.
