MERCURY RETROGRADE AS A COSMIC QUARTERLY LIFE REVIEW
Mercury Retrograde has become really popular in astrology, I think mostly because people fear them. As a Gemini Rising, whose chart is ruled by Mercury, I have been on a personal mission to help people make their peace with this regularly schedule cosmic event.
If we can adapt a more flexible and open-minded stance about this astrological and astronomical event that happens about three to four times a year, we could save ourselves a lot of stress. I believe that it is possible to do more than just survive Mercury Retrograde I think it is a time where we can thrive.

All About Mercury and Mercury Rx
In astronomy mercury is the first planet from the sun. In astrology Mercury and Earth are like kissing cousins. As planets travel the zodiac Mercury and Earth are never too far apart from each other.
It takes Mercury about 88 days to make a complete revolution around the sun through all the signs of the zodiac. It is one of the fastest moving planets in our universe. Because of its fast pace and the Earth’s 365 day revolution there are at least 3 to 4 times throughout the year when it appears as if mercury is moving backwards from the vantage point of the earth.
This is essentially what a Mercury Retrograde is in a nutshell. The appearance of this backwards motion has an impact on the areas of life that Mercury rules from an astrological perspective. Some of those areas of life include day-to-day travel, Sibling interactions, Transportation, Technology, Writing, Publishing, Contract negotiations to name a few.
The backwards motion technically lasts for a period of 21 day but there is always a pre-and post shadow that begin the wonky interaction leading up to the exact point where the backwards motion happen.
Although Mercury retrograde can represent a pause in communication, as always at Eighth House Wisdom, we aim to get you prepared for any celestial events, so you can make the most of the energy.
